10-# of days we have lived in Oregon
9-# of nights of bad sleep lately
8-# of people in my recruit class
7-# of times we drill tualatin valley fire & rescue way (am i missing out on something? hope not)
6-# of members of our househould (pepper-we miss you. its just not the same without you)
5-# of toes on each foot that have blisters
4-# of the hour in the morning it starts getting light here. can't figure that one out. maybe i need to go outside and check it out
3-# of millions of times the broken dove in our backyard coos all night coupled with the dog who usually barks after midnight and before 6. (yes 4 and 9 and 3 are intertwined) wait. it just cooed again. 3,000,001.
2-# of showers i have been taking a day since recruit camp started tuesday
1-# of ila's missing puppies. maybe it was the squirrel, or the dove, or the night barker, or cock robin?
maybe it would not be so bad if my dog was out there barking back.

i can't believe puppy is still missing. you have to check at church.
So sorry for your sleepless nights. It has been relatively quiet here as of late.
We are anxiously awaiting photos of your house and trees. The kids send their love to you all. We doooooo do do miss you all very much.
We are happy for you and your opportunity there in Oregon. We will always be thankful for the wonderful neighbors that you are. I thank Heavenly Father for putting us together. I have learned so much from you both in such a short time, I hope it is enough to get me through the next 8 years or so. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Shari
sucks to be your toes. sorry to hear about that one above all others.
2, the number of hours of sleep murphy let me get at your house last night.
totally worth it to hang with the family though!
Loved your list eventhough it bordered on more sad than happy. It helped me to understand what you are going through. Change can be so hard and yet so good.
Why do you have blisters? Do you need new or different shoes?
