Ila's Surgery Experience

I would have to say, this was the best surgery experience of all. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Start to finish was really fast. Ila was very brave and was so excited to see food when she woke up. No more ear infections and she seems to be back to her happy self. Stay tuned for the Jonas Tonsil surgery at the end of July. I have a feeling it will not go as smooth. :(

Enough Is Enough !

Okay this is a really bold post for me, but I cannot stand back and watch Texas do this any longer. So I guess this is my way of saying something. Everyone seems to quickly talk about the underage pregnant girls and incest going on if you ask them how they feel about it....but, if you follow the story, you may see a differant side. No, I am not a polygamist and No, I do not support polygamy. However, no charges have been brought against anyone, nobody is in jail and still these families are not reunited. The psychological effects are too great on these children. This is not worth it.

Our government put the Japanese in camps and nobody stopped them...now they are after the polygamists. Talk about religious persecution....slowly their large amount of pregnant teens is slipping away to a handful.

I found a websites that is interesting to me. Check out the blog links on it. If you care...I am sure some of you will be curious.

My Mothers Day Weekend

For Mother's day my sisters all spent the weekend in Ontario California to visit my 92 year old Grandma Faye. This women truely amazes me and I strive to be as thoughtful and kind as her. I love you Grandma and had a great weekend seeing you.

The first two pictures were taken at the Graber Olive House in Ontario on Friday night. I love Graber olives and it has been a family tradition to have them on the table at Thanksgiving. They are to die for.. On Saturday we took my grandparents to Balboa Peer and had lunch. It is funny how long you can be away from the Ocean and you still crave putting your bare feet in the hot sand. Sunday we went to Church with Grandma and then said our goodbyes. I had a lot of fun and wish we would do this more often.

He was just that tired.

The Backyard....Slowly But Surely

We got the sprinklers in and a few trees planted. I cannot wait for the garden! I have wanted a garden for years and cannot wait to see the pumpkins, tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini, peaches, apples, and nectarines....Yes I think I over did it but, I have got to start somewhere. This is my first garden but I just wanted to try everything.

A New Family Pic and Why I have no pics on the blog

Well, I have a gazillion pics on the camera. I sat down last week to add to my very neglected blog and all of the sudden my camera will not connect to the computer. Therefore, you will all have to be patient why I go about this the old fashion way. I am going to have to take my memory card to the store and have a disk printed so that I can upload my blog. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

In the meatime Enjoy the snapshots of Aunt Whitney's wedding. Cora was a flower girl. My dream come true.
