So, here is the latest things that bother me about committing to Obama. (although I do think he would be better about taking care of the poor)
Who paid for Obama's Harvard Education?
Who were Obama's foreign college roommates?
What is the truth about his birth certificate?
Anyone know about this stuff?

i've been pondering those things as well.
I know that they have been investigating his birth certificate but it is extremely hard because he has a "fake" one (I don't really know). They say that his grandma claims he was born in a hospital in Kenya I believe, and there are many documentations of relatives having mixed answers to where he was born. Those are tricky questions. I will research and let you know if I find anything.
as far as the birth certificate goes, it is of concern, however you have to hope that there has in fact been a proper certificate presented. it seems unlikely that he could have gotten this far if it is indeed a fake. i hope not anyway. no matter who the candidate is, i hope that our country has better ways of tracking the validity of government documents. furthermore i would hope that anyone working to represent our country would not embarrass us by falsifying such important records.
as far as the inconsistencies in his birth story - grandma may be confused (or not) and his siblings who say he was born in a different hospital than he says just might have the information mixed up. i can tell you what city my siblings were born in, but not likely the hospital.
i don't know...
no matter how this election turns out, i am hopeful that positive changes will be made.
Okay, the birth cert. didn't scare me so much as his roomates. And their scary connections. I can't find anything that says that this is false or reasure me that his edcuations was not funded my foreign gov.

I agree, there are WAY to many unknowns about him- he won't answer any questions which means he's hiding things. There is supossedly a copy of his birth certificate floating around but he refuses to produce the real thing... I think he is 100% untrustworthy. I may not agree with all McCain's decisions but he is trustworthy and forthcoming. That is why I voted for the war hero not the friend of terrorists.
I agree with CC in hoping that by now Obama has had to produce the documents necessary to satisfy the qualifications. I cannot imagine the Democratic Party putting that much support into him if they thought for a minute he could be disqualified. Nor can I imagine the Republican Party letting it go if they had any doubts. If neither of them have verified the rumors on this important issue, our politicians all need to be booted and start fresh. Wouldnt that be a novel idea???
Sometimes I just wonder, who wants to be a politician anyway? Although they get paid and dont report to work everyday and still have a job when the day is done, the week, the month, the year.
