So the preschool teacher told me a few weeks ago that Cora was already reading. I was like uh huh. Then she read the cereal box to Will one morning. Before we knew it she was reading Dick and Jane. I am in total shock. Some kids just "get it" I guess. I am so proud, so I had to brag that my 4 year old reads!

She is definitely Will's daughter. One day when Will was about 5 he got the Dick and Jane book out and followed me around the house figuring out how to read it. Upstairs, downstairs, in the kitchen while I cleaned up, in the bathroom while I curled my hair. I couldnt get away from him, hehe But he sure did learn to read that day!

Some kids do just get it but she is also very lucky to have parents that encourage her and practice with her! Kudos to you as well.
