So we finally got Will's Birthday Present Hung up for the 4th . There was a short delay because of Will's cute little obsession with things being tight and secure. We had to buy longer screws so that flag wouldn't come loose. :) The vegtables are the first of the year....small but good.
Ila was just so darn cute eating the apple that Jonas didn't finish. Let's not mention that it was his third one and he only eats one side before he dumps it in the trash.
The flowers were a success! I transplanted them from my Mom's yard on a hot day and some how they made it. They're called Lemon Gem Marigolds...has anyone ever seen these in a nursery...I looked everywhere!
These nice people were offering rides!

I should go outside and see what my zucchini have done in the past couple of days--I think yours have got ours beat. Doesn't that apple thing just drive you nuts? I try to buy the "school boy" size so they don't end up throwing away as much. Those motorcycle pictures were so fun!
Watch out Tara. Now Cora is going to have it ingrained in her that biker dudes are where it's at. I can't wait until Toby starts finding little treasures to eat. Too soon I am sure.
Yay Will bought something he's been wanting with his birthday money! And can ya blame him for wanting to really secure it so it doesn't end up in Kansas with the trampoline?! There are some fierce winds in your yard!
I saw your vegetables in the first of June and I am amazed you already have ripe and ready to eat. Tara's got a green thumb!

Marigold varieties from what I know are very hardy flowers. I dont know if they will reseed themselves but I know my mom used to save the seeds from flowers as they died in a baggie to plant next year.
The best part of the motorcycle pictures is Cora has on her pjs and her "goodnight" around her neck like a cape! If only we could see it blowin in the wind behind her as they got their motor runnin!!!
